NZ Government to Cover Teacher Registration Fees

From 1 July 2025, the New Zealand Government will fund teacher registration and practising certificate fees, saving educators up to $550. This $53 million initiative, announced by Education Minister Erica Stanford, supports over 115,000 early childhood and school teachers as part of the government's pre-election promise to value the profession.
